Najib As Prime Minister...Are You Serious?

Read for yourself, don't just believe one newspaper. Check & counter-check the news. As you all know, The Star & NST are both BN owned entities so they will never show the full facts.

Just read what the international community has to say about this Primer Minister to be. If 1/3 of the allegations are true, he does not even qualify to be the Minister of Finance, much less as a Prime Minister. Obviously, he has some serious issues to tackle & his credibility as a leader is in question.

This one is the bests! "He is destined to lead". If "God says it is his turn, it is his turn," Rosmah added.

I have to ask Pn. Rosmah, since when did God got involved in politics???

Look on the Bright Side

Let’s be practical. The world is not fair, it never was & will never be. It is how we look at the situation & how best to react to circumstances that gives the best result.

Off course we Perak ppl are pissed with the outcome of events there, but what can we do? Protests & rioting is not our way in Malaysia. We still believe in peace & stability. Perak is slowly dying off from it’s glory tin-mining days in the 1980s. There hasn’t been any major projects or any help from the federal gov, yet year after year we supported the opposition to make them a force to be reckoned with, but what has that left for us? Ipoh especially, feels very much like an old folks town. Scores of youngsters leave for Penang, KL & Singapore to find better employment & business opportunities. Leaving behind their families. Just observe the number of outstation cars returning to Ipoh during CNY, it’s amazing!

Perak ppl used to boast about how well educated & respectable their Sultan Azlan Shah was, how he was a ex Lord President & frequently spoke about justice & accountability matters. But after his decision on the recent outcome, many of us felt that he no longer has the people’s interest at heart. We felt sidelined.

Although Nizar did a good job restructuring administrative matters in Perak, it was still not good enough. Without strong economy & employment opportunities, we are just fighters for a lost cause.

I feel Nizar should step down & focus on being an opposition force to be reckoned with. BN may have taken over Perak by force, but they will not cherish the victory. The opposition should pressure them to develop the state & improve the social & economic status of the state. Show us that our leaders care!!!

I'm sure BN will not so easily just neglect Perak. If they really want to stay on power, they better find good reason for the people to LIKE them! This means, good governance, speedy processing of administrative tasks, addressing the people's concerns & getting economic opportunities for the people. They damm well better get started immediately, FIRST on the priority list should be to solve the land issues in Ipoh, the new villages.

Traitor - True & True

I wonder how much Hee Yit Foong got by joining BN. If the people elected her in March 2008, it is because she represents PR & not her character. She was elected by the people to be given a place of power to represent her people yet she willingly just throw it away by joining BN (And gaining a huge gift in the process). This incident reeks of the foulest scent of treachery.

Come on!? What kind of silly excuse is this to announce to the whole world that you can't work with the Ngeh-Nga cousins? If she had resign as an independent, the people would respect & recognize her difficulties but she choose to join BN & now her excuses is completely discredited.

I travelled from Seremban all the way to Ipoh, Buntong on 3rd March 2008, to give that important vote & now it belongs to BN!!???? I feel betrayed!!!

Remember her name. Remember her face. A traitor to the Perak people.

2nd World Facilities, 3rd World Mentality

http://news.my.msn.com/regional/article.aspx?cp-documentid=1682892

Not bad! Another national achievement & recognition for our high standards in public transportation services.

The last time I boarded a local taxi was back in 2005 when my car was sent for servicing & I had to rely on taxi to work. I remembered it very well, the scrawny little bastard demanded RM 10 straight without using the meter, for less than 3KM journey to my office. He even commented that I was lucky to meet him as he was just passing by after dropping off a customer as normally there would be no taxis service nearby. As I was in a hurry, I boarded it anyway. During the short journey, he lamented about fuel hike lar (RM 1.62/litre) & also pay toll lar & Proton spare parts very the teruk lar. This damm idiot, his taxi had a BIG sticker on the boot stating, "NGV". Yar right, Mr Taxi man! Petrol is expensive but you don't need them so cut the crap".

All this public transportation problem goes back to the government who had lost touch with the rakyat, the people on the ground. They have no idea how difficult it is to get from Point A to Point B in a metropolitan city like Klang Valley unless you are using a private car. Even with that, one must be ready to pay a hefty price for toll & parking mafiuso companies. So the question is, how are we suppose to attract more tourist when the most basic needs of a tourist to travel is in poor management? Our datuks & Tan Sris & YBs, what do they care? Each time they need to rush to an appointment, they've got police escorts to push traffic aside or take a helichopter ride. They don't go through the hassle of driving their own vehicle, getting stuck in jams, searching for coins to pay tolls & further coins for parking. Sigh, such is the standard or lack of it that matter, the situation in Malaysia.

If you're reading this and you happen to be planning a trip to Malaysia. Read further below:

VISIT US AT YOUR OWN PERIL!!! You don't want to drive, walk, ride or stand for a minute on a Malaysian road. Unless you've been to worse countries before, you are advised to stay at the hotel/resorts & just enjoy your time there.

A New Malaysia

Date: 15th September 2008
Time: 9.45pm
Location: Kelana Jaya Stadium

I attended the rally with much enthusiasm & high spirit just like the hundreds of thousands who turned up this night to show their support to the opposition leaders for their commitment to form a new government by 16th September 2008. When I arrived, Lim Kit Siang's voice can be heard from a few kilometers away. His fiery speech & oratory skills is one of a kind. In this time of turmoil & despair in our beloved Malaysia, his speech is like music to our ears. It soothes and gives a strong comforting assurance that there is still men & women of great courage willing to stand up & challenge the evils of our corrupted & useless federal government.

I hurriedly parked my car & began the long march like the hundreds of others in front & behind me. In groups & alone, all marching towards the stadium. We could see men & women, young & old all together streaming towards the gates. Most memorable of all was the fact that, people from all races! YES!!! Malays, Chinese, Indians, Sikhs, Sabahans, Sarawakians & even foreigners all marching along towards the stadium entrance. To be honests, it has been a long time since I've witnessed such a spectacle. I have not seen people of all races emerge to show their support & the spirit of patriotism. SAYS WHO!? The Chinese don't give a damm about our country! There were so many Chinese & Indians that we almost match the number of Malays. The bests part of ALL! We were all smiling to each other, irrespective of race. Generally, there was a feel good sensation all round. I could see Malays greeting Chinese, Indians greeting Malays, everyone was hoping for a single goal. Everyone tonight wish for a new Malaysia!!!

As I reach the center of the stadium onto the grass fields, Lim Kit Siang was at the peak of his speech & in even louder as he comments on the brutal & unjust detention of RPK, Teresa Kok & Reporter Tan using the ISA. He condemned the act as barbaric & inhumane, violates human rights & further deterioration of Law & order in this country. He condemned The UMNO leaders for their gross incompetence & blatant abuse of the ISA as well as their ignorance & disrespect as well as uncaring attitude towards the Rakyat. Again & again, the supporters cheer in great fervor.

Again, all round the stadium, from the grass field to the seats to the stage to the gates, there were people of ALL races standing, sitting & cheering to support. Suddenly, I realize something, a feeling I've not felt for a very long time. I no longer feel like I was a Chinese. I started to feel proud again to be a Malaysian. Attending this rally makes the word, Malaysian very meaningful indeed.

As expected, the next to give speech was Anwar & the mere mention of his name, causes a thunderous applause from all the supporters there. He began the speech by greeting everyone in all the major languages, BM, Mandarin, Tamil & English. He describe the meaning of Merdeka & what was promised & agreed by our past leaders. What the constitution was about & how we must not forget the lessons from history & how ALL the races struggled & united to form & build Malaysia. Basically, his speech was very much centered on his pledge to form a new government by Sep 16th 2008. He also pledge that if PR were to form the new federal government, they will immediately:-

(1) release all ISA detainees, the Hindraf people, the political activists, RPK, Teresa Kok & any others who were wrongly detained without trial.

(2) reduction of petrol & diesel to their previous prices.

(3) reform the government machinery & stamp out corrupt officials. Especially the police & legal authority.

(4) reinforce & protect ALL religion as promised under the constitution of Merdeka.

(5) rebuild & improve the economy. To bring in fresh investments & to help develop Sabah & Sarawak which has been neglected for so long.

To end the speech, they played the Lagu Merdeka. Seldom have I seen, grown men & women, Malays, Chinese, Indians & all other Malaysian standing firm & singing together our national anthem. I'm proud again to be a Malaysian! MERDEKA!!! As I'm writting this, it's 1.10AM, 16th September 2008. I hope that when I wake up later this morning, the dream of a new Malaysia with a new government would materialize.

If there is a heaven up there, I pray to you ALL! GOD, we could really use your help with some divine intervention right about now.

Gov Abusing ISA authority

I am so disgusted by the news that Pak Liar & Najis have resorted to using the ISA to arrest not only RPK but also the reporter Tan and Teresa Kok. This is another blow to their credibility and effectiveness in running the gov. Shame on them, including this Seri Syed Hamid Albar for allowing such Draconian rule to repel criticism and opposition.

What did they do wrong? Did they circulate hate pamphlets? Did they use weapons to threaten the people? Did they organize riots? All they did was to tell the truth. Perhaps this truth is what the ruling gov is afraid of. An inconvenient truth!

In this time and age, the ISA is completely obsolete & has no place in modern day democracy. It's a piece of rotten garbage left over by the British of colonial days to thwart communism & now every single Malaysian is forced to take a bite of it. So what if the Rakyat is not intimidated or fallback from their discontent & disapproval for Pak Liar & Najis's leadership? Are they going to announce emergency state instead & release the might of the armed forces to quell civil unrest?

It doesn't matter which religion you believe in. Let us all pray for a better Malaysia. For us, our future and the nation.

51st Merdeka

Our country is in distress. Our politicians and leaders are corrupt & abusing their authority. There is no reason to celebrate our independence day. We demand change. We demand a fair & transparent government. We want accountable & caring leaders.

God help us.
